It is also not SO thick that you lose any feeling of touch when you fold it on your hand and wipe the surface - making it extremely suitable for double duty of removing wax and using with a "quick detailer" spray wax.
The deep pile picks up plenty of wax and other residue without sacrificing the performance of the towel during your detail.
